Jehane Boden Spiers has licensed hundreds of her own designs for surface pattern projects worldwide. Studying at Winchester School of Art (Textile Design BA Hons), Jehane is known for having started a trend by using words, quotes, and documents in her artwork, a trend still commonplace today.

Initially working as a textile designer in Vienna, Jehane’s designs have been licensed to Sanderson, Medici, Stewo, Viabella, John Lewis, Great British Card Company, Apple Arcade, and many more.

Her original artworks have sold in retail outlets including Liberty, English Heritage, RSC, and the Sydney Opera House.

Her one-off pieces have sold in galleries nationally. Jehane has given talks about her artwork including at the V&A's "Art of the Stitch".

Jehane’s concept The Art of Whale-Being is a book illustrated by Katherine Quinn, published in the UK by Ice House Books and she is currently illustrating a two-illustrator book for a major author to be published by Wren & Rook, Hachette.
