Jane Robbins (1947–2022) was a paper collage artist and illustrator known for her distinctive, pattern-led work inspired by the landscapes and architecture of Sussex. Drawing on a lifelong fascination with patchwork, flat pattern, and found materials, she created beautifully detailed collages using papers sourced from magazines, packaging, envelopes, and most notably newspapers.

Jane studied at Eastbourne School of Art and Hornsey College of Art, and throughout her career her work was widely reproduced and licensed. Her imagery featured across successful greeting card and stationery ranges, and she illustrated a poetry book for the National Trust, who also used her work extensively across note cards, notebooks, and other products, often depicting specific properties such as The Clergy House, Alfriston and Birling Gap.

Due to the delicate nature of her original collages, Jane rarely sold them, instead producing high-quality giclée prints which remain highly sought after. Her work combines charm, craftsmanship, and a strong sense of place, making it particularly well suited to licensing across a range of formats.
